Challenge
One of the biggest challenges in set design for music videos is translating the intangible — the sound, rhythm, and emotional tone of the music — into a visual format. Creating the music video for Sarz and Wurld's "Nobody Wins" presented several significant challenges, particularly in conveying the introspective and melancholic themes of the song through its set design.

Goal
The primary objective of the music video for “Ego (Nobody Wins)” was to create a visual representation that balances the upbeat, EDM-influenced beat produced by Sarz with the melancholic lyrics delivered by WurlD. The video aimed to engage fans and generate excitement for the upcoming EP, while also exploring the emotional complexities of starting a new relationship.

Results
The party set for the music video which Chukwuka Nwobi, WurlD, Baba Agba and Muktar co-direct, balances the groovy sound of the EDM-influenced Sarz-produced beat with the WurlD’s melancholic lyrics. While the artists and cameo cast of LadiPoe, Bolu Aduke Kanmi and others are seen in colourful clothes at a party, the video follows a rather moody narrative, detailing the struggles of starting a new relationship.
The music video for “Ego (Nobody Wins)” successfully achieved its objective of balancing the song’s upbeat and melancholic elements. The contrasting visuals and narrative depth resonated with viewers, generating excitement and anticipation for the forthcoming EP, 'I Love Girls With Trobul.' The video’s ability to visually represent the song’s themes while maintaining an engaging and aesthetically pleasing experience highlights the effective collaboration and creative vision of the directors and artists involved.
